Courage is just one word away.

We've been lied to about brave. The movies make it look like fearlessness — the hero who doesn't flinch, doesn't hesitate, doesn't feel the thing the rest of us would be feeling.

      That's not brave. That's a CGI problem.

Brave is the opposite. Brave is the kid who's shaking the whole way to the starting line and runs anyway. The athlete who throws up before every game and plays anyway. The person who has the conversation they've been dreading for six months and has it anyway. The one who knows they'll probably get hurt and shows up anyway.

Brave isn't the absence of fear. It's the thing you do with fear still in the room.

Into the arena. Into the conversation. Into the moment you've been dreading. Into the version of yourself you don't know how to be yet.

Ultra-minimal. Embroidered. For the people who just decided to go.
